Butcher Furniture was established in 1959 when Dave & Betty Butcher moved with their young family to Hillsburgh. For the next 34 years, they worked side by side to build a busy furniture business. Their philosophy was always fair prices for good quality. Over the years the store has grown to 12,000 sq. ft. and a second store was opened in Orangeville in 2004. Presently both stores are owned by one of Dave’s long time employees, Marvin McDougall and his wife Nancy. A tradition started in 1959 carries on.
