Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Lou Gehrigs Disease, is a progressive, neurodegenerative disease where nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control muscle movement die. It robs you of your ability to walk, talk, and eventually breathe. It's also a terminal disease, with 2 to 5 years life expectancy. Come walk for ALS on Sunday June 4th at Island Lake.
