Let's plan on sunny skies for the 5th annual Island Lake Classic 5K run/walk and 10K run hosted at the picturesque Island Lake Conservation Area. Free children's fun-run, and post race BBQ, prizes and medals for participants. Run Dufferin, a local not-for-profit running club, and the Friends of Island Lake, a fundraising committee of the Credit Valley Conservation Foundation, team up annually to present this event benefiting the trails at ILCA. Both groups encourage living a healthy lifestyle and responsible enjoyment of the beautiful surroundings at Island Lake. Good luck to all participants.
