What is eye coordination?
Eye coordination is the ability of both eyes to work together as a team. Just like our two feet work together so we can walk comfortably, both eyes need to work together so we can see comfortably.
Good eye coordination keeps the eyes in proper alignment. A minor misalignment of your eyes can cause symptoms.
What are signs and symptoms of poor eye coordination?
Children may display a number of different characteristics that may indicate poor eye coordination, including: - Headaches and eye strain - Eye and body fatigue - Irritability - Difficulty reading and concentrating - Poor academic performance - Covering one eye - Eye rubbing and watering - Head tilting - Skipping lines or losing their place when reading - Poor sports performance - Avoiding tasks that require close work and tiring easily. - Double vision - Dizziness
