Ontario COVID-19 Update: May 16
Enough COVID-19 updates already! Isn’t there anything else to talk about?
Although we at The Helm Marketing Group do hope you are all well, we have come to the conclusion that everywhere we turn there is non-stop talk, news, and “updates” on Covid-19, so we have decided that we will, as best as we can, not join in on that.
So, sit back and enjoy our newsletter that is almost “Covid Free!”
Deja Vu Diner has always prided itself on its quality of not only food but service. We are very active in the community making sure that we are taking care of those who take care of us. Without our community we wouldn't be successful, therefore we believe it's important to give back
What is the driving force behind your family’s philanthropy in the community?
I would say it was my upbringing. My father and step mother helped people all the time, no questions asked, no fuss no muss. If they saw a need they filled it. I can't even tell you how many people over the years lived at our home who had no where to go, or drove a car my Dad bought for them to get back and forth to work, and the list goes in. It's all I really know and it was never glamourized it was just done.
How can people order breakfast with the social distancing?
The best way is to call in your order or to use our phone app.
You can download on the app store, Deja Vu Diner on Android, or Deja Vu 2 Go on Apple
Can people order anything else from Deja Vu during the pandemic?
We have multiple items that can be ordered through our facebook group Deja Vu Diner Meat Sales.
Boxed meats, produce, flour and the list goes on.
We are also currently selling gloves, hand sanitzier, bread, coffee, yeast, maple syrup, perogies, butter tarts and some other items in store.
Is there anything else you wish to add that the community should know about you or the diner?
We would like people to know that if you need help, reach out. We have programs in place at the diner to help keep you and your family fed if you are struggling. We don't judge and we don't ask questions
